aardvark's professional actors are extremely experienced in creating and performing murder mystery evenings and weekends.
The guests become embroiled in shocking dastardly deeds as the murder unfolds before them. They have the chance to become fully involved in the investigation by grilling the suspects or sitting back and relaxing as others do all the work.
How does it work?aardvark's murder mysteries are extremely flexible, but a typicalevening may run as follows:
With their pre-dinner drinks the guest detectives have the chance to meet the characters and set their investigation on its way.
As the evening moves into dinner, the plot thickens leading to murder!
At this stage, everyone in the room must be considered suspect, so it is up to everyone to prove their own innocence, as well as unmasking the guilty party.
During dessert or coffee the detective reports are completed, allowing the sleuths to give their considered opinion as to who committed the villainous deed and maybe exercise their poetic skills with a limerick.
Finally, the characters will return, reveal the intricacies of the plot, announce the winners and award prizes.

Miss Jemima Hayhoe-Laughton invites you to her beautiful home. The year is 1932; the setting is the ancestral home of the Hayhoe-Laughtons. Miss Jemima lives in the house, whilst the trusted family lawyer, Humphrey Laslow, carefully looks after the fortune. Humphrey has decided to show his charitable side and has formed a club – ‘The Society for the Rehabilitation of Fallen Women’. Richard Barrett [now a private investigator] has been invited to regale the guests with gruesome tales of his trade. Before the evening is half completed however, a scream is heard from the kitchen and a member of staff is found brutally battered in the kitchen.

However, the ‘Trick Shot Show’ goes horribly wrong and soon an undercurrent of malice pervades the happy walls at Boglins

The elegant Mrs Trumpington has convened a meeting of the village people to instruct them to be on their guard, as there is talk of a spy in their midst. There is the wonderful news that the spy has been apprehended and is undergoing interrogation and the evening becomes one of celebration. Why, then, does a shot ring out?
